Rock the House 2010

Welcome to Rock the House 2010

In 2009, Habitat for Humanity built three
homes for three deserving families. As a
result, the building fund was depleted.   It was
decided that Habitat for Humanity needed to
start an ongoing fundraiser that would help us
build additional homes. Rock the House was
born and a lot of hard work went into getting
a first year event off the ground.   2009 was
perhaps the worst year for sponsorships and
as a result, Habitat experienced a loss
versus a gain for the first year event.   We
were optimistic that in the second year, more
sponsors would come on board.

2010 has provided us with some new
sponsors as well as a few returning,
however, it is not enough for us to produce a
quality event. We are hoping you will
understand that it is more important to us to
put on an event you are proud to be
associated with, than put on an event for the
sake of having an event.

2011 we will try again! We hope by then the
economy begins to improve and businesses
are able to put money into their marketing
funds, and begin again sponsoring events.
